Where it started. Built Around Family
M&S Trailer Rentals started in March 2023 with one car-hauler trailer and a simple goal: create a little extra income for our family.
At the time, I had spent nearly 11 years working full-time in private EMS on a 24/48 schedule, while my wife worked at the hospital as a labor and delivery nurse. At the same time, our family was growing through foster care and adoption. Today, we have 10 kids at home, so finding a way to build something flexible around family life became more important than ever.
What started as a small side business slowly became that solution. As M&S continued to grow, I was able to step back from full-time EMS, move to part-time, and eventually make the business my full-time job. What began with one trailer has grown into a diverse fleet serving customers with trailers, campers, dumpsters, generators, and transport services.
Being a home-based business has shaped the way we operate. We know life and projects don’t always happen between 9 and 5, so we’ve built M&S around flexibility. We’re available 24/7 by appointment whenever possible, and our online booking and contactless pickup and return options help keep rentals moving even when we can’t physically be there.
M&S truly is a family business. Our family is part of the story, part of the work behind the scenes, and the reason we care so much about providing dependable equipment, straightforward service, and helping make a difference in the community we call home.
What started as a little extra income for our family has grown into something we never expected — but the goal has stayed the same: take care of our family, take care of our customers, and build something we can be proud of.
